Our teachers are qualified and well prepared, we believe they are very important assets in the development of our students. Thanks to all our teachers the students learn new things every day, helping our students succeed. Our teachers are wonderful, caring, and loving people. They come to school every day with positive energy ready for another day of teaching. Thanks to all our teachers our students are ready to learn. The majority of our former students have gone to many universities and now are very important people in our society.

International Master
Having achieved the rank of International Master, Saudin was a professional Chess player in Europe, winning a lot of tournaments. He established NYChessKids. He really loves kids, working with kids, and with anything related to chess. He also loves yoga and very much into it right now.
SAUDIN ROBOVIC
Chess Expert/
Q300 Chess Team Coach
Chris (Mr. Max) is a successful and experienced teacher and has been with NYChessKids for more than 15 years. He is one of the coaches for the Q300 Chess Team. He created very disciplined player and actually led Q300 team to tie for champion in 2018. He is also a black-belt judo master.

Yoga and Arts Teacher
Khatia has been working with NYChessKids for more than 8 years. She is a very good private teacher and is always present at the tournaments and camps. She works with all levels but really love to work with little kids. Khatia also teaches arts and yoga.

Shep has been working with NYChessKids for more than 20 years. He is an excellent team coach, a good private teachers, and works at the schools, tournaments, and camps. He may not be active in tournaments but he really is a strong chess player.

Kids Club Teacher
Martha is the NYChessKids office manager. She is very talented and her ability to multi-task is just superb! She does most of the admin tasks and works at the camps and after-school programs as well. Martha teaches Critical Thinking, Yoga, and Coding.

NITAI LEVE
Chess Expert
Nathan has been active in New York city Chess since 2005. He is not just a great Chess player and coach, but also a musician. He, in fact, has a degree in Music from the City College. Nathan has been working with NYChessKids for more than 8 years.

Ivan is one of the coaches for the Q300 Chess Team. He is a FIDE Master, and a great chess teacher. He is a very popular chess private lesson teacher and is good at teaching all levels, from beginners to more advanced players. He is also an IT expert.
