Online Class with Coach Anatoly

Online chess classes via Zoom. The primary goal of the classes would be to learn and improve basic chess fundamental skills, such as developing pieces, king's safety, pawn structures, and basic tactics. Besides that, the kids will also have something to look forward to each week and to prepare them for real tournament participation.

All students will be required to have a free account on Lichess.

​

Program Outline:

  • 25-30 minutes lesson

  • 45-50 minutes supervised friendly but competitive practice games

​

Class Schedule (starting November 3rd)

  • Thursdays, 4:00-5:15 PM Eastern Time (K-1)

  • Fridays, 4:00-5:15 PM Eastern Time (Grades 2-5)

​

Fee:

  • $25 per class payable through Venmo or Zelle

  • There will be no registration or sign up for the classes, no commitment necessary. Will be strictly on an honor system. 25% of all fees will go towards NYChessKids scholarship fund
