Early Bird Classes

This program starts in the first week of January 2010 at public schools PS 116 and PS 163 and is intended to support talented kids who otherwise cannot afford to participate in the after school chess program. Classes will be sponsored by NYChesskids and will be held once a week for 45 minutes.

In order to participate in this chess program a students needs to be recommended by one of the chess teachers or classroom teachers . The student will then have to be approved by the school's administration. Parents are welcome to apply for their children to this program by contacting their school's administration.
