Student Profiles

For a couple of years NYChessKids has been documenting many of our students' activities while they were participating in the NYChessKids chess program. We created our student profiles in order to document and update information about our students's individual activites and achievements. This information helps a lot when we talk to our students' parents considering the next options for our students' chess education.

Maintaining and updating student profiles is normally done by our chess teachers whose responsibility it is to accurately add new information about their students when they embark on a new chess related task within the NYChessKids chess program.

A student's profile contains general information about the student such as name, age, school, grade, parents' names and contact information. Additionally the profile summarizes all chess specific informations about the student such as the student's chess lessons, homework assignments, testing and promotion information, NYChessKids skill level, and much more.

A student's profile can be shared online among NYChessKids, the student's parents and his chess teache(s) so everybody involved in the student's chess education has access to the profile.
