Hi!
My name is Saudin Robovic. I am an International Chess Master from Bosnia.
I now
live in New York City where I have been teaching children how to play chess for
the past six years. Every week I teach 500 students in various public and private
schools. I have found that most children, parents, and teachers like chess,
and
many are aware that chess study offers many benefits for growing minds. But most
do not know how and where to start. After talking to many of my friends and
students,
I decided to develop this website to help kids, parents, teachers, communicate
about chess. The idea behind creating "NYChesskids" is to link all
of
us who love chess and to help our kids to grow successfully.
That is why
I encourage both "parents" and "kids" to share their experiences
in the chess world. Parents are welcome to publish articles and communicate with
each other in "Parents to
Parents". Kids are invited to introduce themselves and discuss their
games in "Kids to Kids".
